02/16: SP XML & Template

 

1. Adding a PDF Image to Docicon.xml

• Download a pdf image and copy to

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\Template\Images

• Open file

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\
12\Template\XML\Docicon.xml and add the following entry

<DocIcons>…
<ByExtension>
<Mapping Key="pdf" Value="pdficon_small.gif" />

• Reset IIS by calling IISReset
